Try dicking around with it or check YouTube. I find playing around with things is a lot better than being taught.

The most important thing to learn is the histogram and tone curves. If you learn what it shows and how to manipulate it to get the look you want, you can figure out pretty much any photo editing software.

As a photographer I can say that editing requires a wholly different skill set to get right. YouTube is great but nothing's better than playing around on Lightroom/Photoshop on your own.
